1/2" X 100' WHITE PEXTUBING, FLEXIBLE, CORROSION-RESTANT, HOT/COLD POTABLE WATER, RIGID COPPER TUBE SIZE FOR USE WITH QUICK CONNECT PUSH-ON FITTINGS AND OR BRASS AND POLY ALLOW PEXINSERT BARB FITTINGS.

Flexible, corrosion-resistant, hot/cold potable water, CTS (Rigid copper tube) size for use with Quick connect push-on fittings and/or brass and poly alloy PEX insert barb fittings. Barbed insert PEX fittings are secured using either stainless steel cinch clamps or copper crimp ring methods. Type B Silane method PEX has more antioxidants and thermal stabilizers which is critical for chlorine ratings and recirculation systems. Type A, B, and C are European system designations not rating/grading system for PEX. Do not use duct tape, pipe dope, threading compound, mineral or linseed oil. Support pipe every 30" vertically and horizontally. Protect pipe when entering/exiting slab or walls. Do not kink or expose to sunlight. Minimum clearance to water heaters, boilers, wood burning appliances. 18" recessed lights, 12" gas appliance vents, 6" NSF-61 FDA, CSA/ASTM, UPC listed/approved. 25 year warranty even when used with other manufacturers ASTM SDR-9 certified fittings. Covers materials. Labor is not pro-rated. Maximum working pressure: 160 P.S.I. (11 bar) at 73.4 deg. F. (23 deg. C.) / 100 P.S.I. (6.9 bar) at 180 deg. F. (80 deg. C.) /80 P.S.I. (5.5 bar) at 200 deg. F. (93 deg. C.). Manufactured in accordance with American society for testing and materials (ASTM International) F876 and F877 to SDR-9 dimensional standards. Listed by the NSF International to NSF Standards 14 and 61 for use in potable water systems. Listed by NSF International to be in compliant to the Uniform Plumbing Code . Labeled B137.5 which indicates that it is compliant to the CSA Standards B137.5. Certified to PEX 5006 (replaces NSF CL-R) for use in continuous hot water recirculation systems. ASTM E84 and CAN/ULC S102.2 smoke developed and flame spread classification. Fire-resistant per CAN/ULC S101 and ASTM E119-08. Radiant PEX tubing is the same size as rigid copper tube (CTS). PEX tubing cannot be solvent welded . Caution-Do not use any pipe dope or thread sealing compound as damage to fittings or pipe can result.
