APPLICATIONS: • For Engines, Machinery, Metal Parts and Floors

DIRECTIONS: NOTE: NOT TO BE USED AS AN ENGINE DEGREASER, MACHINERY CLEANER, OR FLOOR CLEANER IN CALIFORNIA OR OTHER VOC-REGULATED AREAS. WHERE VOC REGULATIONS EXIST, THIS PRODUCT MAY ONLY BE USED INSIDE ENCLOSED PARTS WASHERS, SOLVENT CLEANING TANKS, OR RELATED EQUIPMENT DESIGNED TO CLEAN MISCELLANEOUS METALLIC PARTS BY IMMERSION IN A CONTAINER. Professional users must read MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) before using this product. MSDS’s are available upon request at gunk.com. This is a Super Concentrated liquid cleaner and MUST be diluted with no less than 5 parts of petroleum solvents such as: kerosene, fuel oil, Stoddard Solvent, mineral spirits, etc. WARNING: NEVER USE EXPLOSIVE SOLVENTS SUCH AS GASOLINE, NAPHTHA, OR WHITE GAS.

HOW TO MIX: Use container that is completely free of water. Mix and use at room temperature (50°F. or more). Average degreasing requires one part of S-C to nine parts of solvent.

IMPORTANT: Avoid use on rubber, tile, asphalt, black top or other surfaces aff ected by petroleum solvents.

HOW TO USE: 1. Apply generously only to moisture-free surfaces by spray or brush. Or submerge parts in a soak-tank fi lled with S-C solution. Wipe any overspray from exterior painted surfaces with a wet cloth at once to avoid dewaxing or streaking. 2. Allow to soak for 10 to 15 minutes. (Brush unusually heavy deposits.) 3. Rinse with a fi ne stream of water from top down. SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT. . . USE THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF WATER NECESSARY TO REMOVE GRIME AND DIRT and see Disposal Statement.

ENGINE CLEANING TIPS: 1. Engine must be off and cool. 2. Cover distributor, electronic components, carburetor and air intake systems as necessary. NOTE: care must be taken with all underhood electronic components. Minimize rinse water which can cause performance problems. Exposed electrical conductors (cracked or frayed wires or EC unit) can short circuit. 3. Apply or spray generously on dry engine. Wipe any overspray from exterior body surfaces with a wet cloth at once to avoid dewaxing or streaking paint. 4. Allow S-C to soak for about 5 minutes. Brush unusually heavy deposits. 5. Rinse with a fine stream of water from top down. SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT…USE THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF WATER NECESSARY TO REMOVE GRIME AND DIRT and see Disposal Statement. 6. When complete remove all covers and replace any removed parts. Start engine immediately and idle 15 minutes to assure complete.

STORAGE, HANDLING & DISPOSAL: Store in a cool, dry well-ventilated area away from oxidizers and ignition sources. Do not expose contents or put container in contact with heat, sparks, or open fl ame. Wear safety goggles or full face shield, rubber gloves and protective apron. SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT. The residue resulting from the removal of petroleum oils and greases may be considered a hazardous waste depending upon where and how generated. The use of this product to clean engines and bilges in watercraft produces a hazardous waste that cannot be discharged into any waterway. Disposal of contaminated rinse water into watercourses, sewers, or on the ground may also be prohibited by law. Such disposal is prohibited in California. Proper disposal includes collecting and evaporating rinse water and/or recycling and disposal of residues and the empty container in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

DANGER: Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Do not use on plastic surfaces without pre-testing. Do not use in septic systems. Do not apply with finely atomized spray in presence of sparks, fl ame, or fi re. CAUTION: Contains petroleum distillates. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting Call physician immediately. Keep away from children and animals. Use with adequate ventilation.

FIRST AID: EYES: Exposure can cause severe irritation leading to redness, and burning-like sensation. Flush with water while lifting eyelids thoroughly for 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention. SKIN: Repeated exposure of high concentration can cause irritation leading to defatting of tissue and dermatitis. Wash with soap and water thoroughly. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. If adverse eff ects persist get prompt medical attention. INHALATION: Exposure to high concentration of mist and vapors can cause dizziness, narcosis, and headache. Repeated exposure may lead to kidney and liver damages. Remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes diffi cult get prompt medical attention. INGESTION: HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED! Aspiration of vomitus into lungs can cause pneumonitis. Can be irritating to stomach, throat, and mouth. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Call Poison Control Center, Physician, or Hospital Emergency Room immediately.
